I created my YouTube channel with no experience and simple talking head videos. Today it makes over $100k a month, and I want to show you how.
Most people think that YouTube is too hard. They think that you have to go viral to make real money. Or you have to publish videos for years and years until you build a small following. Or that the only way to make money on YouTube is through ad revenue in their partner program.
None of these assumptions are true.
If you treat your YouTube channel like a real business from day one, it can scale your growth a lot faster.
The goal here is to teach, not just entertain. When you teach, you open up the door for the four main YouTube revenue streams: affiliate revenue, sponsorships, ads, and selling your own product.
When you untap the power of these four together, you better control your YouTube business and can make money out of the gate.
For example, instead of creating a comedy channel or videos out in public, you create a simple channel teaching a skill you may have. For example, screenwriting.
Then you create a minimum viable studio (MVS), which could be as simple as your iPhone and a window for light, or as complex as a few lights and a camera.
Then you publish informational “how-to” talking head videos on screenwriting, as well as transactional videos for affiliate revenue, like the “best screenwriting software”.
Then you drop affiliate links into your YouTube description. And after publishing simple videos consistently with good titles and thumbnails, you can sell your own course on screenwriting. Then you get approved into the partner program, add a few sponsors, and you have a huge business.
I want to teach you that YouTube is actually pretty easy when you think about it that way. It’s a simple business model and the best way to build a true organic audience today.
